John Hocutt
Chairman
John Hocutt worked on a wide variety of offshore projects until 2002 when he transitioned to the office as a project manager.
Since then he has managed pipeline, diving and ROV related projects large and small, from deep water subsea well work over
& abandonments to mud-hole tie-ins. He has been involved with US GOM DSWG since 2012 and has participated in several subcommittees.
John holds a Project Management Professional certificate from the Project Management Institute and is activity involved with
his family, the diving and church communities. He is current employed by Talos Energy.

Scott Crook
Vice Chairman
Scott Crook serves as the Enterprise Diving Technical Authority for Chevron Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), bringing over 38 years of experience in the commercial diving industry. He began his career in 1983 after graduating from the Divers Institute of Technology, initially working with Frolich Divers. From 1987 to 1997, Scott was employed by American Oilfield Divers, after which he transitioned to roles as a Diving Site Representative with PCS and Power Performance, supporting various oil companies.
Since joining Chevron in 2006, Scott has held several key positions, including Diving Facilities Coordinator, Diving Operations Superintendent, and Diving Projects Advisor within Chevron’s Energy Management Company (EMC). He led the monthly Chevron Diving Improvement Team meetings from 2009 to 2017 and currently chairs the Chevron Enterprise Diving Advisory Team (EDAT). Under his leadership, Chevron’s Diving Standards were revised to align with IOGP Report 411, reinforcing Chevron’s commitment to industry best practices and safety.

Travis Detke, MBA
Secretary
Travis Detke has been active in the diving industry for 48 years. A graduate of the Commercial Diving Center in 1977, he started his
career as a tender in the North Sea with Sub Sea International. Moving to the Gulf of Mexico area, he continued working for Sub Sea,
Global Industries, Aquatica, Cal Dive and Aqueos. An active participant in the diving industry, Mr. Detke served three terms on the
ADCI Board of Directors as the Gulf Coast Chapter Chairman. Additionally, he has served on NOSAC focus groups and US GoM Diving Safety
Work Group as well as the Contractor Advisory Board for The Ocean Corporation. Mr. Detke has a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from the University of North Dakota and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
With a robust background in operations, management, sales, contracting, and negotiation, Travis brings a wealth of experience and a
proven track record of success. His career is a testament to his dedication, expertise, and unwavering commitment to operational safety.

William Bratkowski
William Bratkowski has over twenty-nine years of experience in the ever growing and changing offshore and sub-sea construction industry.
Along with attaining positions of increasing responsibility in the health, safety and environmental management field,
he has acquired an exemplary record of leadership and accomplishments. He is the Vice President of HSEQ at EPIC Companies and
previously served on the ADCI Board of Directors and as Vice President of the ACDI for a term.

Troy Turner
Troy Turner is employed by Phoenix International Holdings, Inc. where he serves as Area Manager of the
Bayou Vista, LA facility. His responsibilities include overseeing the facility, estimating, operations, LA
sales, and directing associated commercial projects. Troy works very closely with the Safety and
Compliance Departments. He is an extremely visible and hands-on leader.
Having 37 years in the Commercial Diving Industry, he has worked his way up through the diving ranks
as Tender, Diver, Supervisor, Project Manager, Area and General Manager positions. He began his
career in 1989 with Cal Dive International. In 2003, he transitioned into the Cal Dive/Aquatica office as a
Project Manager. Troy served in a similar capacity for Aqueos Subsea from 2012 to 2014. In mid-2014,
he joined DeepCor Marine in a managerial role, which he held until 2017 when he joined Phoenix
International Holdings, Inc.
Mr. Turner has an extensive diving background from various anchor and dynamic positioning (DP)
vessels, as well as docks, dams, and shallow water marsh work. This has provided him with valuable
experience in new construction, inspection, repair, and maintenance (IRM), shallow and deep water,
and decommissioning projects. This experience has been vital to the growth of his career and a key to
planning and executing safe operations.
Troy has experienced firsthand the terrible effects serious diving incidents have on family members,
friends, and all involved. This has shaped Troy's values and commitment to safety, allowing him to be an
industry advocate for diver safety. He is continuously learning, researching, and actively seeking new
ideas and concepts to help improve diver safety and the well-being of all involved in the industry.

Jason Duke
Jason Duke attended the College of Oceaneering in 1993 and started his career with Subsea International out of Belle Chasse, La.
Jason worked his way up through the stages of Tender to grade 2 Diver before Subsea sold out to Global Industries around late 1996.
Jason chose to join Cal-Dive at that time along with a few of his colleagues from Subsea Int and made that home for a few years until joining EPIC Companies.
Jason began there as a diver and worked his way up to senior Offshore Manager.
Jason remained at EPIC for 18 years helping them grow from small local diving company to a very successful competitor in the larger GoM market of diving.
As the market was seeing changes, Jason moved on from EPIC and joined BP as a Diving Representative in 2017 and now currently holds the position of Western Hemisphere Regional Diving SME.

Nicholas Hess
Nicholas began his career with Oceaneering in November 2007, starting as a Tender and progressing through roles as IMCA bell diver, DMT, IMCA Supervisor before taking on his current position as Assistant Operations Manager.
His operational experience spans a range of diving environments, beginning with surface-supplied gas and air diving aboard 4-point anchor boats, performing inspection, grouting, habitat work and construction. He later transitioned into Saturation and nitrox diving on DP, TLP and daughter craft vessels in deepwater settings. With a passion for auditing diving equipment, Nicholas is in the process of obtaining the IMCA Diving System Inspector certification. In taking on his current role, he values the hard-earned lessons of past diving pioneers and integrates those insights to help ensure safer dives today.
